Frank Epperson created the first popsicle in 1905 while mixing soft drink powder. He introduced the product at a fireman's ball in 1922. Epperson sold the product to Joe Lowe Company in 1925. Good Humor acquired the rights in 1989, forming the Good Humor-Breyers division
