Program includes 9 credit hours of ME electives and 9 credit hours of TE electives. Maximum 9 total research credits allowed for BSME degree. ME electives are non-required courses at ME 300, 400, or 500 level
Complementary courses provide methods and skills that don't directly teach IE. Only courses from School of Applied Disciplines can be taken as non-credit. Courses must be taken with credit and letter grade
Area elective allows all courses except compulsory ones. Environmental elective focuses on environmental-related courses. HSS elective covers EC, HIST, HUM, SOC, PHIL, POLS, PSY, STS, ED, PRED. Mathematics elective includes all MATH courses. Philosophy/History of Science elective covers specific STS courses
