Parenteral vitamins are strongly recommended for infants and children receiving PN. Water and lipid-soluble vitamins should be added to lipid emulsions. Vitamins should be administered daily if possible. Lipid-soluble vitamins should be given simultaneously with lipid emulsions. Routine monitoring of vitamin concentrations is not recommended
