Reversal pattern — is a chart formation that indicates a change in the direction of the market from an upward trend to a downward trend and vice versa 34.
Examples of reversal patterns:
- Double top and double bottom 14. Formed when the price fails to break the same level twice in a row (double top) or rebounds from the same support level twice (double bottom) 1.
