Vital pulp therapy includes protective liner, indirect pulp treatment, direct pulp cap, and pulpotomy. Nonvital treatment involves pulpectomy and lesion stabilization for irreversible pulpitis. Pulpotomy requires MTA or formocresol for teeth expected to last 24 months. Pulpectomy should be performed when root resorption is minimal
