Inspect and replace damaged data cables. Try different USB ports on the PC. Accept 'Trust This Computer' when prompted. Temporarily disable Windows Security. Update both iOS/iPadOS and Windows 11
Congested networks can cause slow app performance. Mobile devices may reconnect to new cell towers. Strong signal doesn't guarantee fast connection
Old iPads can be updated via WiFi or iTunes connected to computer. Wireless update requires stable WiFi connection and backup. iTunes update needs iPad connected to computer via lightning cable. Automatic updates can be enabled for overnight installation
Press volume and top buttons together. Drag power off slider to right. Wait 30 seconds for iPad to power off. Press top button until Apple logo appears. Lock screen should appear after restart
Connect iPad to computer via Lightning cable. Press volume buttons simultaneously until power slider appears. Press top button until recovery mode screen appears. Select "Restore" in Finder or iTunes
