NVIDIA Control Panel Custom Resolution may be greyed out or not showing up. Custom resolution forces monitor to display higher than supported resolution

Screen resolution measures pixels on display. Higher resolution means clearer text and images. Resolution depends on monitor and video card capabilities
Resolution can be changed through Settings > Display > Screen Resolution. HD resolution is 1280x720, FHD is 1920x1080, WQHD is 2560x1440. Display size can be adjusted in Settings > Display > Font size
Right-click desktop and select "Display settings". Choose new resolution from drop-down menu. Click "Keep changes" or "Revert" to apply. Select monitor if using dual monitors
Press Ctrl+-, then press - key multiple times for zoom. Hold Ctrl and scroll down with mouse scroll wheel. Press Ctrl+Plus to zoom in
