    Renate Stecher, evlilik öncesi soyadıyla Meißner (d. 12 Mayıs 1950), Doğu Alman eski kısa mesafe koşucusu.

    Kariyeri boyunca 34 kez dünya rekoru kıran sporcu, tarihte 100 metreyi 11 saniyenin altında koşan ilk kadındır.

    Stecher 1972 Münih ve 1976 Montreal Olimpiyatları'nda Doğu Almanya'yı temsil etti.

    Stecher 1969 ve 1974 Avrupa şampiyonalarında 4x100 metrede, 1971'de ise 100 ile 200 metrede olmak üzere, toplam dört kez Avrupa şampiyonu oldu.

    Stecher, engelli koşucusu Gerd Stecher ile evlenmiştir.
