    Georg Wittig (d. 16 Haziran 1897 - ö. 26 Ağustos 1987) Alman kimyager.

    Wittig reaksiyonunda fosfonyum ilürleri olarak adlandırılan bileşikler kullanılarak aldehit ve ketonlardan alkenlerin sentezi için bir yöntem bulmuştur.

    1979 yılında Herbert C. Brown ile birlikte Nobel Kimya Ödülü'nü paylaşmıştır.
