    Antonio Maria Valsalva

    Antonio Maria Valsalva (17 Ocak 1666 — 2 Şubat 1723), Imola'da doğmuş bir İtalyan anatomistti.

    Araştırmaları kulak anatomisine odaklanmıştı. Östaki borusu terimini ortaya attı ve 1740'ta ölümünden sonra yayınlanan yazılarında Valsalva'nın aort sinüslerini tanımladı.

    Adı, kulağın Valsalva antrumu ve dolaşım fonksiyonunun bir testi olarak kullanılan Valsalva manevrası ile ilişkilendirilir.

    Adını taşıyan anatomik yapılar Valsalva kası ve teniae Valsalvae'dir.
