- Bedrock Edition: 15% spawn chance, 25% drop chance with Looting III
- Drowned can't drop tridents, only their own can
- Basic Features
- Used in both melee and ranged combat
- Thrown tridents deal 8 damage and can be picked up
- Drowned throw tridents every 1.5 seconds, dealing 9 damage
- Can be enchanted with Loyalty, Riptide, Channeling, or Impaling

- Loyalty tridents return to thrower after hitting entities
- Riptide tridents launch player in water or rain
- Channeling tridents summon lightning bolts
- Impaling tridents deal extra damage to water mobs

- Durability equals iron sword
- Can be repaired by combining damaged tridents
- Thrown tridents don't despawn in Bedrock Edition
- Can be used with elytra in rainy weather
- Can be enchanted with sword enchantments in Creative mode
