    Basilisk, Firefox tarzı arayüz ve işleyişe sahip ücretsiz ve açık kaynaklı bir web tarayıcısıdır. XUL tabanlıdır ve modern web siteleriyle uyumluluk sağlamak için eski bir düzen motorunu modern teknolojilerle birleştirir.12

    Windows, macOS ve Linux işletim sistemlerinde çalışır. NPAPI eklentileri, WebAssembly desteği ve Firefox uzantılarıyla uyumludur.23

    Pale Moon ekibi tarafından geliştirilen tarayıcı, Firefox'un erken sürümlerinin yerini almayı hedefler. Sürekli beta aşamasında olmasına rağmen kararlı bir yapıya sahiptir.34
