    Yusuf Karş, 20. yüzyılın önemli portre fotoğrafçılarındandır. Winston Churchill, Ernest Hemingway gibi ünlü isimlerin ikonik portrelerini çekmiştir.123

    Osmanlı Ermenisi olan Karş, Kanada'ya göç etmiş ve burada sanatını geliştirmiştir. Eserleriyle dünya çapında tanınmış, birçok müze koleksiyonunda yer almıştır.13
