Mayıs 830'da yapılan bu gösteride Paflagonyalı Ermeni asıllı bir soylu, büyük toprak sahibi olan bir Bizans donanması amirali Marinos ile Theoktisti'nin kızı olan Theodora imparatora gelin olarak seçildi.
