    Tadao Andō, Japon mimar ve Pritzker Mimarlık Ödülü sahibidir. Beton, ışık ve peyzaj unsurlarını birleştirerek minimalist ve modern tasarımlar yaratmıştır.

    Eserlerinde geleneksel Japon mimarisi ile Batı modernizmini sentezler. Işık Kilisesi ve Chichu Sanat Müzesi gibi yapılarıyla uluslararası tanınırlık kazanmıştır.1324

    Mimarlık eğitimi almamasına rağmen, Carlsberg Ödülü ve Kyoto Ödülü de dahil olmak üzere birçok prestijli ödülle onurlandırılmıştır.35
