    Sharman Macdonald

    Sharman Macdonald, güçlü ve düşündüren eserleriyle tanınan çok saygın bir İngiliz oyun yazarı ve senaristidir.

    8 Şubat 1951'de Glasgow, İskoçya'da doğan Macdonald, çalışan bir ailenin çocuğu olarak büyüdü. Yazma ve hikaye anlatma yeteneği erken yaşlarda ortaya çıktı ve Birleşik Krallık'ta en yetenekli oyun yazarlarından biri haline geldi.

    Macdonald, kariyerine bir aktris olarak başladı, ancak gerçekten ön plana çıkmasını sağlayan yazma yeteneği oldu. Çıkış oyunu olan "Bir Kızken, Çığlık Atardım," 1984 yılında Londra'daki Royal Court Tiyatrosu'nda prömiyer yaptı.
