    Robert MacNaughton, 19 Aralık 1966 tarihinde New York City, ABD'de doğan, tanınmış bir Amerikalı aktördür.

    MacNaughton, ebeveynleri ve dört kardeşiyle birlikte Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania'da büyüdü. Genç yaşta oyunculuğa ilgi duyan MacNaughton, okul oyunlarına ve yerel tiyatro prodüksiyonlarına katıldı.

    On dört yaşında, Robert MacNaughton «Benji» filmindeki rolüyle profesyonel oyunculuk kariyerine başladı. 1970'ler ve 1980'ler boyunca sinema ve televizyonda çalışmaya devam etti ve yeteneğiyle tanındı.

    Bununla birlikte, onu ün kazandıran ve ona eleştirmenlerden övgü alan Elliott karakteriyle Steven Spielberg'in klasik filmi «E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial»da en iyi bilinir ve adını duyurdu.

    Aktörlük rollerinin yanı sıra, MacNaughton aynı zamanda yapımcı ve yönetmen olarak da çalıştı ve hem sinema hem de televizyonda başarılar elde etti.
