    Photek ya da gerçek ismiyle Rupert Parkes, 1990'lı yılların başında İngiltere elektronik müzik sahnesini şekillendiren ve bu alanda bayrağı taşıyan DJ ve prodüktörlerden biri.

    90'lı yılların sonuna kadar bu müziğin gelişmesine büyük katkı sağlayan üstad, aynı zamanda Animatrix filmine yaptığı başarılı soundtrack ile de biliniyor.

    Müzikal kariyerinin başlarında ambient sularında gezinen İngiliz prodüktör, ilerleyen dönemde caz ve elektronik müziğin öne çıkan öğelerini müziğine taşıdı.
