    Pantelis Vulgaris

    Pantelís Voúlgaris (modern Yunanca: Παντελής Βούλγαρης) doğdu2 Ekim 1940içinde Atina bir olan Yunan yönetmen temsilcisi Yeni Yunan Sineması. Aynı zamanda tiyatro ve televizyon yönetmenliği yaptı.

    İlk filmleri İtalyan Yeni Gerçekçiliğinden çok etkilenmiştir. 1968'de Ford Vakfı, Yunanistan'dan yurtdışında sinema okumak üzere ayrılmasına olanak tanıyan bir burs teklif etti.

    Nihayet 1973'ün sonunda ülkeyi terk etmek zorunda kaldı çünkü polis tarafından Ecole Polytechnique'deki ayaklanma sırasında öğrencilerle ilgisi olduğu için aranıyordu.
