    Om Raut, Hindistan'ın önde gelen sinema yönetmenlerinden biridir.

    1980 yılında Hindistan'ın Maharashtra eyaletinde doğan Raut, genç yaşlardan itibaren sinemaya olan ilgisini keşfetti. Eğitimini Mumbai'deki çeşitli sanat okullarında tamamladıktan sonra, sinema dünyasında kariyerine adım attı.

    Raut, özellikle epik ve tarihi temalı projeleriyle tanınmaktadır. Om Raut'un en bilinen eserlerinden biri, 2020 yılında vizyona giren «Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior» filmidir. Bu film, Maratha İmparatorluğu'nun ünlü savaşçısı Taanaji Malusare'nin hayatını konu alır ve büyük bir gişe başarısı elde etmiştir.

    Ayrıca, Raut'un yönettiği «Adipurush» adlı film de büyük bir merakla beklenmektedir. Bu film, Hindu mitolojisindeki Ramayana destanını modern bir bakış açısıyla ele almayı hedeflemektedir.
