    Marco Martins Portekizli bir sinema yönetmeni ve senaristtir. 1970 yılında Portekiz'in başkenti Lizbon'da doğmuştur.

    Sinema kariyerine 1990'ların ortalarında kısa filmlerle başlamış, zamanla uzun metrajlı filmlerle uluslararası alanda tanınan bir isim haline gelmiştir.

    Martins, filmlerinde genellikle insan ilişkileri, yalnızlık ve varoluşsal temalar üzerinde durmaktadır.

    Marco Martins'ın en bilinen eserlerinden biri, 2009 yapımı «Alice» adlı filmidir.
