    Kim Sowol

    Genel bilgiler

    Kim Sowol (1902-1934) erken dönem modern Kore şiirine en çok katkı yapan en ünlü şairidir. Gerçek adı Kim Jeong-sig'dir.

    Hayatı boyunca dokunaklı ve geleneksel motifli Kore türküleri yazmıştır. "Azaleas" (진달래 꽃) en ünlü şiiridir.

    Şiirlerindeki tema "Arirang"daki gibi melankoli içermektedir. Çünkü şiirlerinde halk müziğini kullanmış ve bu yüzden «Halk Şarkısı Şairi» olarak anılmıştır.
