    Giuseppe Penone - Uluslararası çağdaş sanatın önemli isimlerinden ve Arte Povera (Yoksul Sanat) akımının on iki temsilcisinden biri olan İtalyan heykeltraş.

    Tüm kariyeri boyunca doğayı sanatının hammaddesi olarak seçen Penone, insanın doğa ile aslında tek bir vücut olduğunu savunarak, tabiat ile insan arasındaki en temel bağa ulaşmaya yönelik arayışını bir an olsun durdurmuyor.

    Sanatında ağaç, yaprak, diken, kil, taş gibi çeşitli malzemeler kullanarak onlara yeniden can veren Giuseppe Penone, böylelikle Arte Povera'cılar arasında organik malzemeye en fazla ilgi duyan sanatçı olmuştur.
