    Giovanni Paolo Pannini (1691-1765) - İtalyan Barok ressam.

    Piacenza'da Giuseppe Natali, Andrea Galluzzi ve sahne tasarımcısı Francesco Galli-Bibiena'dan eğitim aldı. 1711'de Roma’ya taşındı.

    En çok şehrin eski eserlerine özel ilgi duyduğu Roma manzaralarıyla tanınır. En ünlü eserleri arasında Pantheon’un iç kısmına bakışı ve Roma manzaralarını içeren resim galerileri resimleri vardır. Yapıtlarının çoğu, özellikle harabe olanlar, gerçek dışı bir süsleme özelliğine sahiptir. Panini ayrıca Papa XIV.Benedict’in de dahil olduğu portreler çizdi.
