    Genel bilgiler

    Gioacchino Rossini (d. 29 Şubat 1792, Pesaro, İtalya - ö. 13 Kasım 1868, Paris) İtalyan opera bestecisi. "Mösyö Kreşendo" takma adı ile anılır.

    Rossini başarıyı komik operalarıyla yakalamıştı. En önemli eserleri olarak Guillaume Tell, Tancredi ve Semiramide kabul edilir.
