    Daniela Thomas Brezilyalı bir sinema yönetmeni, senarist ve yapımcıdır. 1960 yılında Brezilya'nın Rio de Janeiro şehrinde doğmuştur.

    Sinema kariyerine genç yaşta başlamış ve zamanla uluslararası alanda tanınan bir yönetmen haline gelmiştir. Thomas, sinemada toplumsal konulara duyarlılığı ve güçlü görsel anlatımı ile dikkat çekmektedir.

    Daniela Thomas'ın yönetmenliğini üstlendiği önemli filmler arasında «O Que É Isso, Companheiro?» 1997, «Futuro Beach» 2014 ve «The Second Mother» 2015 yer almaktadır.
