    Christopher Andrew istihbarat tarihi konusunda Britanya'nın en önde gelen tarihçisidir.

    Cambridge Üniversitesi Tarih Fakültesi’nde modern tarih emeritus profesörü ve eski bölüm başkanıdır. Harvard Üniversitesi, Toronto Üniversitesi ve Avustralya Ulusal Üniversitesi’nde misafir öğretim üyesi olarak bulunmuştur.

    Ayrıca dünya çapında bilinen Cambridge İstihbarat Semineri’nin de kurucusudur.

    Modern tarihte gizli istihbaratın doğru veya yanlış kullanımı hakkında yazdığı, alana öncülük eden çok sayıda eseri arasında Sword and the Shield; The World Was Going Our Way, Defend the Realm ve MI5’in izin verilmiş tarihçesi vardır.
