    Genel bilgiler

    Can Artam, Türkiye'nin uluslararası arenada önemli başarılara imza atan ilk yarış pilotu olarak tanınıyor.

    1981 doğumlu Artam, kariyerine 1999'da karting ile başladı. 2001 yılında Türkiye Turing Şampiyonası'nda yarıştı. Aynı yıl içinde US Barber Formula Dodge'da yarıştı ve şampiyonluk kazandı. 2002 yılında Turing Şampiyonası'nın yanında «North American Fran Am 2000 Pro Championship» yarışlarında yarıştı. Bu süre içinde kartingle yarışları da sürdürdü.

    29 Mayıs 2004'de Imola'da ilk kez Formula 3000 yarışlarında yarıştı. Sezon içinde Coloni ve Super Nova takımlarında yer aldı. 2005 yılında GP2 yarışlarında yarışan ilk Türk pilot oldu.
