    Ali Ekber Han

    Ali Ekber Han (14 Nisan 1922 — 18 Haziran 2009), sarod çalmadaki ustalığıyla tanınan Hint klasik müzisyenidir.

    Babası Allauddin Han tarafından klasik müzisyen ve enstrümantalist olarak eğitilmiş, ayrıca çok sayıda klasik raga ve film müzikleri bestelemiştir.

    1956'da Kalküta'da bir müzik okulu kurdu. 1967'de Amerika Birleşik Devletleri'ne taşındı ve burada şu anda Basel, İsviçre'de bir şubesi de olan Ali Ekber Müzik Koleji'ni kurdu.

    Khan, Batı'da Hint klasik müziğinin hem bir sanatçı hem de bir öğretmen olarak popülerleştirilmesinde etkili oldu.
