    Genel bilgiler

    Ahlam Mosteghanemi çağdaş bir Cezayir şair ve romancısıdır. Aynı zamanda zamanının tartışmasız en başarılı Arap yazarıdır.

    Sürgünde ve Cezayir'de büyük bir kargaşa döneminde doğdu. Bir Fransız öğretmenin kızı olarak deneyimleri, Cezayir'in kurtuluş savaşçısını çevirdi, vizyonunu şekillendirdi ve yazısına ilham verdi.

    Romanları çeşitli dillere çevrildi ve dünyadaki ortaokul ve üniversitelerin müfredatlarına dahil edildi.
