    Benedetto Croce (25 Şubat 1866, Pescasseroli, İtalya Krallığı - 20 Kasım 1952, Napoli, İtalya), 20. yüzyılın ilk yarısının en önemli İtalyan filozoflarından, estetik tarihinin en önemli düşünürlerinden birisi.

    Klasik romantik felsefenin rasyonalizmini örnek alan bir tin felsefesi geliştirmiş ve tinin tek gerçek olduğunu savunmuş olan Croce'ye göre, ten kendisini diyalektik bir biçimde, düşünce ve eylem olarak iki basamakta gerçekleştirir. Bunlardan düşünce ve eylem basamakları da, kendi içlerinde ikiye ayrılır. Buna göre, birinci basamak sezgi, sezgisel bilgi ya da sanat, ikincisi mantıksal bilgi ya da mantıktır.
