    Edouard Boubat (1923-1999) - Fransız foto muhabiri ve fotoğrafçı.

    1923'te Paris'te doğdu. École Estienne'de tipografi ve grafik sanatları eğitimi aldı ve fotoğrafçı olmadan önce bir basım şirketi için çalıştı.

    İlk fotoğraflarını 1946'daki savaştan sonra çekmeye başladı ve ertesi yıl Kodak Ödülünü kazandı. Dünyayı Fransız meslektaşı Jean-Philippe Charbonnier'in bulunduğu Réalités adlı dergi adına gezdi ve daha sonra serbest bir fotoğrafçı olarak çalıştı.

    Fransız şair Jacques Prévert kendisini hümanist, apolitik ve büyüleyici konuları fotograflandığı gibi «barış muhabiri» olarak nitelendirdi.

    Oğlu Bernard Boubat da bir fotoğrafçıdır.
