    Sineklerin Tanrısı, Nobel Edebiyat Ödüllü İngiliz romancı ve şair William Golding'in 1954 yılında yazdığı alegorik romanıdır.

    Özgün adı Lord of the Flies olan roman Türkiye'de özgün adının tam çevirisi olan Sineklerin Tanrısı'nın yanı sıra bazı yayın evleri tarafından İşte Bizim Dünya adıyla da yayımlanmıştı.

    Kitap II. Dünya Savaşı'nın ardından yazarın kendi yakın geleceğinde, yani gerçek olmayan bir nükleer savaş sırasında geçer.

    Sineklerin Tanrısı, Liderlik savaşının insanların doğal yapısında olduğunu ve bunu kazanmak için de dost kazanma ve düşman kaybetme (gerekirse yok etme) yöntemlerini uygulamasını gösteren bir roman. Gruplaşmaların temelinde insanın en derinlerinde saklı pırıltıları ve kötülükleri meydana çıkarma uğraşındaki insanları betimliyor.
