    Neptune and Triton

    Neptune and Triton, İtalyan sanatçı Gian Lorenzo Bernini'nin ilk heykellerinden biridir.

    1622 ve 1623 yılları arasında yapılan eser,Londra'daki Victoria and Albert Müzesi'nde sergileniyor. Oyma mermer, çalışma yüksekliği 182,2 cm.

    Neptün ayakta, ata binen Triton; ikincisi çömeliyor; iki figür, kaide görevi gören büyük bir yarım kabuğun üzerine yerleştirilmiştir. Triton kabuğuna üflerken Neptün, üç çatalını denize doğru çevirir. Bu, heykelin bir çeşme işlevi görmesi için içinden su fışkırması için tasarlanmıştır.
