    "Ligeia", Edgar Allan Poe'nun erken dönem öykülerinden biri. İlk defa 1838'de yayımlanan öykü, isimsiz bir anlatıcı ile Ligeia adındaki güzel ve kuzgun saçlı eşi hakkındadır.

    Hastalanan Ligeia, Fatih Kurtçuk adında bir şiir yazar ve ölmeden hemen önce, Joseph Glanvill'in insanın sadece irade yoluyla hayatta kalabileceğine dair bazı sözlerini sayıklar. Eşinin ölümünün ardından isimsiz anlatıcı, Leydi Rowena ile evlenir. Leydi Rowena da hastalanıp ölünce çılgına dönen anlatıcı, gece boyunca kadının cesedi yanında kalır. Sonunda Rowena yavaş yavaş dirilmeye başlar ama aynı zamanda Ligeia'ya dönüşür.

    Öykü, anlatıcının afyon etkisiyle gördüğü bir düş olabileceği gibi, kimi görüşlere göre Poe'nun hiciv amacıyla yazdığı bir öykü de olabilir.
