    Friends of the Earth

    Genel bilgiler

    Friends of The Earth International (FoEI), her kıtadan yaklaşık 5000 yerel aktivist grubu ve 75 ulusal grubu bünyesinde barındıran, dünyanın halk hareketlerine dayanan (grass-roots) en büyük çevre ağıdır.

    FoEI, 2008 itibari ile dünyada 2 milyondan fazla üyesi ve destekçisi ile birlikte günümüzün acil çevresel ve toplumsal meseleleri konusunda kampanyalar düzenlemektedir.

    FoEI var olan ekonomik ve kolektif küreselleşme modeline karşı çıkmakta ve çevresel açıdan sürdürülebilir ve sosyal adalet içerisinde yaşayan toplumların oluşmasına yönelik çözümler geliştirmektedir.
