    FC Pohang Steelers

    Genel bilgiler

    Pohang Steelers Koreli bir futbol kulübüdür.

    Başlangıçta POSCO olarak adlandırılıyordu. Daha sonra Pohang Demir-Çelik Şirketi olunca kulüp 1973'te kurularak Kore futbolunun en önemli taraflarından biri oldu.

    Kulüp, 1990 yılının sonunda 20.000 kişi kapasiteli özel olarak yapılmış Steelyard Stadyumu'nu elde etti. Halen Kore'de bir futbol kulübü tarafından inşa edilen özel bir stad olma ayrıcalığına sahiptir.

    Henüz 1995'teyken ismini değiştirdi, Pohang Atoms'a uygun yerel bağlarla daha fazla güç kazanması için 1997'de günümüzde de kullanılan Pohang Steelers adını aldı.
