    Genel bilgiler

    Lehistan Krallığı veya Polonya Krallığı, günümüzdeki Polonyalıların atalarının Orta Çağ 'da kurduğu bir devlettir.

    Bu krallığın başlangıç tarihi olarak 18 Nisan 1025 tarihinde Lehistan dükü I. Bolesław'ın Gniezno Katedrali'nde taç giyerek kendini kral ilan etmesi verilmektedir.

    1385 yılında Lehistan'ın başına Litvan Jagiellon Hanedanı geçerek her iki devleti de birlikte yönetmeye başlamışlar, 1569 yılından sonra ise Lehistan ve Litvanya ülkeleri resmen tek bayrak altında birleşerek Lehistan-Litvanya Birliği 'ni kurmuşlardır.
