    El-Halil

    Yazeka

    Arama sonuçlarına dayanarak oluşturuldu

    El-Halil, Filistin’in Batı Şeria bölgesinde yer alan ve tarih boyunca peygamberlerin izlerini taşıyan kutsal bir şehirdir. Adını, Allah’ın dostu anlamına gelen “Halilullah” unvanıyla anılan Hz. İbrahim’den alır.

    Şehirde İbrahim Camii bulunur ve bu cami, Hz. İbrahim ile ailesinin mezarlarını barındırır. Ayrıca Yahudiler için de önemli olan bu yapı, tarih boyunca farklı medeniyetlere ev sahipliği yapmıştır.

    Günümüzde İsrail işgali altında olan El-Halil’de Filistinliler, şehrin kutsal mirasını korumaya çalışmaktadır.1243
