    Blast of Silence, 1961

    Genel bilgiler

    Sessizliğin Gürültüsü, 1961 ABD yapımı kara filmdir. Özgün adı Blast of Silence olan bu düşük bütçeli bağımsız film, daha önce sadece birkaç televizyon dizisi yönetmiş olan Allen Baron'un ilk sinema filmidir. Allen Baron aynı zamanda filmin senaryosunu yazıp başrolünde de oynamıştır. Aslında filmin başrolü için önce Peter Falk'la anlaşmış olan Baron, Falk'ın daha iyi bir ücretle Murder, Inc. adlı başka bir gangster filminde oynamayı tercih etmesi üzerine ekonomik nedenlerle kendi filminin başrolünde yine kendisi oynamaya karar vermişti. Allen Baron daha sonra da hep televizyonda çalıştı ve yüzlerce ünlü diziyi yönetti. En çok da Çarli'nin Melekleri dizisindeki çalışmalarıyla hatırlanır.
