    Anarşi, İngiltere ve Normandiya'da 1135-1153 yılları arasında yaşanan iç savaştır.

    İç savaş İngiltere kralı I. Henry'nin tek yasal vârisi olan oğlu William Adelin'in Beyaz Gemi'nin batmasıyla ölmesi üzerine çıkan krizden sonra patlak verir. Henry'nin kızı Matilda'yı kraliçe olarak tahta geçirme girişimleri başarısız olur.

    1135 yılında ölümü üzerine yeğeni Stephen, kardeşi Winchester Dükü Henry sayesinde iktidarı alır. Stephen'in iktidarının ilk yıllarına baronlar arasındaki sonu gelmeyen savaşlar, Galler bölgesinde isyanlar ve İskoç saldırıları damga vurur.
