    Çad-Libya Savaşı, 1978-1987 yılları arasında Libya ve Çad arasında yaşanan bir çatışmadır. Libya lideri Muammer Kaddafi, Çad'ın kuzeyini kendi toprağı olarak iddia ederek askeri müdahalelerde bulundu.

    Savaşta Fransa, Çad hükûmetini destekleyerek Libya'nın işgalini engelledi. Toyota Savaşı gibi dönüm noktalarında Çad kuvvetleri, Libya ordusunu geri püskürttü.

    1986'da Çad güçlerinin birleşmesi ve uluslararası baskı, savaşın sona ermesini sağladı. Kaddafi yönetimi, Çad Cumhurbaşkanı Hissène Habré'yi meşru lider olarak tanıdı.1324
