Analytics for websites with fresh and relevant content
Content analytics in Yandex Webmaster provides the owners of news sites with the following features:

Measure the traffic to your site from various sections of Yandex Search.

Find out which articles on the site are popular with your audience.

Check the site's average ranking in search results.

Analyze what users are searching for and what's trending.

Compare your site's content with other sites of the same grade.
To get started with the tool, go to Publisher Center → Content analytics.
View performance of content sites
Grade is a performance score that allows you to compare your site's impressions with those of other sites. The higher the grade, the more frequently the site's pages appear in search results.
The grade is calculated based on data collected over the past 28 days.
To view sites with similar scores, click Site grade examples. Use the and
buttons to navigate between site examples with lower or higher grades.
Analyze user behavior
Content analytics helps you monitor the following metrics:
The display of the link to the site in the Yandex search results for some query. Potential presence of the link on the second and further search result pages is not considered a display, if the user didn't open the page. Impression statistics include data from organic search results and dynamic placements.

The number of a snippet in Yandex Search results that contains the link to your site. Your site's ranking for a specific keyword may change throughout the day, so the service displays the daily average position.
To compare multiple metrics, choose the ones you want in the User action section. You'll see the detailed data on the chart, and the summary data in the table below.
For detailed information on the selected metrics, use filters:

Device: The devices on which users access your site. The default value is All devices.

City or region: The region where your site's users are located.

Period. You can specify the period for which you want to view data.
You can also choose how the data appears on the chart: by day, week, or month.

Select articles to track performance. By default, the filter shows data for all pages (All articles).
To view data for a particular article, start entering its URL in the search box and choose the article from the drop-down list. You'll see all the site's pages that got impressions during the selected period.
Analyze user queries
The Trending section shows:

The highest-frequency news search queries by users: The topics of the queries may not match the topics of your site's articles.

The pages on your site with the highest traffic.
Specify the period for which you want to get data and adjust your filters:

Device: The devices on which users view websites in Yandex Search. The default value is All devices.

City or region: Where users are located.
