Add a review

Your reviews help other users decide which places they should visit. Each review you write earns you points:

  • Five points for each rating.

  • Twenty points for each review.

The more points you earn, the higher your level. Your reviews appear in Yandex Search, Yandex Maps, and Yandex Navigator.

Alert

All reviews must comply with the rules. Before publication, your review and any accompanying photos must pass moderation, which may take several days.

Add a review through personal account

  1. Go to the Ratings and reviews page.

  2. On the Tasks tab, select the organization, game, or movie that you'd like to review.

  3. Rate it on a scale from 1 to 5 .

  4. Write a review about the organization.

  5. Tap Send.

  3. Press Add a review.

  4. Write a review about the organization.

  5. You can add photos to your reviews. To do this, press Add photos and select a photo from your device.

  6. Tap Submit.

If you want to make changes to your review (for example, delete photos), you can edit it.

Here's how you can add a review of an organization. You can following the same steps to add reviews of places, movies, games, or TV shows.

  1. Go to the Yandex home page.

  2. Find the organization in Yandex Search.

  3. In the organization card, press the number of existing reviews.

  4. Rate it on a scale from 1 to 5 .

  5. Write a review about the organization.

  6. You can add photos to your reviews. To do this, press Add photos and select a photo from your device.

  7. Press Leave a review.

If you want to make changes to your review (for example, delete photos), you can edit it.

  1. Go to the Yandex home page.

  2. Find the organization in Yandex Search.

  3. Press the organization card.

  4. In the window that opens, press the number of existing reviews.

Add a review of a site in Yandex Browser

Site reviews are displayed in Yandex Browser on PCs and smartphones running Android or iOS. This option isn't available when browsing in Incognito mode.

To add a new review or comment on an existing review, log in with your Yandex ID.

To add a review of a site:

  1. Open Yandex Browser on your mobile device and navigate to the relevant site.

  2. In the bottom right corner, press .

  3. At the top of the new window, tap About.

  4. Tap Site reviews and rate it on a scale from 1 to 5 .

  5. Press Leave a review and share your opinion. Make sure to consider the recommendations for writing reviews.

  6. Tap Submit.

  1. Open Yandex Browser on your mobile device and navigate to the relevant site.

  2. In the bottom right corner, press .

  3. Tap .

  4. Tap Site reviews and rate it on a scale from 1 to 5 .

  5. Press Leave a review and share your opinion. Make sure to consider the recommendations for writing reviews.

  6. Tap Submit.

  1. On the left of SmartBox, click the connection status icon . The Protect panel opens.

  2. Under Site reviews, click .

    To view all reviews, scroll down. You can also sort reviews by relevance, popularity, and date, or choose to display positive or negative reviews first.

  3. Rate it on a scale from 1 to 5 .

  4. Press Leave a review and share your opinion. Make sure to consider the recommendations for writing reviews.

  5. Tap Submit.

If you want to make changes to a review, you can edit it.

You can rate sites in your personal account, under Internet expert. Sites suggested for you to rate are selected automatically based on your browser history. You can't rate a specific site of your choice.

Rate a review

You can rate other users' reviews using the  Like and  Dislike buttons.

Reply to reviews

If you're a site's representative and you want to respond to a user's feedback, you can do this through Yandex Webmaster, under Site quality → Reviews. For more information, see Working with reviews in Yandex Webmaster Help.

Edit a review

1. Open the site.

2. On the left of SmartBox, press  and select the review icon. Your review will be the first in the list.

3. Press  → Edit. A page with a full list of your reviews opens. The relevant review will be highlighted in yellow.

4. In the review card, press  → Edit review.

5. Make your changes.

6. Press Save review.

Delete a review

1. Open the site.

2. On the left of SmartBox, press  and select the review icon. Your review will be the first in the list.

3. Press  → Edit. A page with a full list of your reviews opens. The relevant review will be highlighted in yellow.

4. In the review card, press  → Delete review.

5. Confirm the action.

Hide reviews

You can disable the display of reviews in Yandex Browser for PC:

1. In your browser, click  → Settings → Interface.

2. Under SmartBox, disable Show website reviews (icon to the left of the URL).

Subscribe to reviews

You can follow users whose reviews you find interesting. Next to the reviewer's username or in their profile, press Subscribe.

Add a review of an organization in Yandex Maps

  1. Go to Yandex Maps.

  2. Search for the organization and press Reviews.

  3. Rate it on a scale from 1 to 5 .

  4. Write a review about the organization.

  5. You can add photos to your reviews. To do this, drag and drop a photo onto the corresponding field or select it from your device.

  6. Press Send.

You can share a review on the website, on social media, or in a messenger:

  1. Find the business in Yandex Maps.

  2. Select the review.

  3. Press  → Share under the review.

  4. Copy the link or select a social network.

If you want to make changes to your review (for example, delete photos), you can edit it.
