Incognito mode

Incognito mode allows you to keep your searches and visited sites private. In Incognito mode, Yandex Browser for Mobile does not save your passwords, auto-complete data, search queries, history, or visited pages. All changes to settings, downloaded files, and bookmarks are saved.

Incognito mode features

Attention. Incognito mode does not make you invisible. For example, if you log in on a social network, you will be seen as online. Also, it will not protect your smartphone from viruses.

The following Yandex Browser for Mobile features are not available in Incognito mode:

Switching to Incognito mode

  1. Tap  → New Incognito Tab.
  2. Enter a search query or web address, or choose a site in Tableau.

In navigation mode, Incognito tabs have a separate location and are accessible via the icon.

Close Incognito tab

  1. Tap to switch to tab navigation mode.
  2. Click .
  3. Swipe the tab up or tap the icon in the upper left corner of the tab.
