Terms of use for Yandex Translate Service

1. General Provisions

1.1. Büyük Reklam Çözümleri Limited Şirketi (hereinafter referred to as “Yandex”) offers the Internet User (hereinafter referred to as the User) to use the service Yandex Translate available at: http://translate.yandex.com.tr/ (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”).

1.2. These Terms are an annex to the User Agreement for Yandex Services regarding the manner of using the Service. In all cases not provided for by these Terms, the relations between Yandex and the User in connection with the use of the Service shall be governed by the User Agreement for Yandex Services (https://yandex.com.tr/legal/tos), as well as the License to use Yandex search engine (https://yandex.com.tr/legal/termsofuse/index.html), the Privacy Policy (https://yandex.com.tr/legal/privacy_policy).

1.3. By starting to use the Service/its certain functions, the User is considered to have accepted these Terms, as well as the requirements of all of the above documents, in full, without any reservations and exceptions. If the User disagrees with any provisions of the specified documents, the User may not use the Service.

1.4. These Terms may be amended by Yandex without any prior notification, the new version of the Terms shall become effective upon its posting on the Internet at the address specified in this paragraph, unless otherwise provided in the new version of the Terms. The current version of the Terms is always available at: https://yandex.com.tr/legal/translate_termsofuse/index.html.

1.5. If Yandex makes any amendments to these Terms in the manner provided for by section 1.4. of these Terms, to which the User does not agree, they shall stop using the Service.

1.6. The Service offers the User to access the functions of automated translation of User’s texts and web pages without any charge if requested by the User. All currently existing functions of the Service, as well as any development of them and/or adding new ones is the subject matter of these Terms.

2. Use of the Service. Certain functions of the Service

2.1. The Service provides the User with the possibility to automatically translate texts selected by the User from one language to another, as well as web pages, the links (URLs) to which are specified by the User.

The functionality of the Service may differ depending on the selected language, as well as the region of the User.

2.2. The automated translation of texts and web pages is conducted using Yandex’s own technologies.

2.3. The Service is provided to the User for personal non-commercial use.

2.4. The Service provides the User with functionality to independently add a translation, edit the translation and report an error (hereinafter referred to as the User’s Data). The User agrees that the User’s Data can be available to all other Users both directly at the Service and in other Yandex resources as well as in Yandex advertising or marketing materials without specifying the User (his/her name and/or login) that added the User’s Data. The User shall solely and entirely bear the risks for the statutory compliance, content, integrity, accuracy and reliability of the User’s Data. Yandex reserves the right, without prior notice and at own discretion, not to publish the User’s Data. Yandex does not guarantee the safety of the User’s Data to any extent and/or during any term, inter alia, if the Service is modified. Yandex reserves the right to use the User’s Data for commercial purposes, and transfer the rights specified in this clause to third parties.

2.5. Yandex reserves the right to restrict the User’s access to the Service (or to certain functions of the Service, if it is technologically possible) in its sole discretion using the User’s account or to fully block the User’s account due to repeated violations of these Terms, or to apply other measures to the User in order to comply with the requirements of the legislation or the rights and legitimate interests of third parties.

3. Limitation of Liability

3.1. The Service is provided "as is". Yandex does not guarantee that the Service meets the goals and expectations of the User, or that the Service as a whole or its individual components or functions will operate uninterrupted or without errors.

3.2. Yandex has the right to make any changes to the structure and algorithms of the Service and its functions, suspend the operability of the Service or the operability of its functions, change or terminate the performance of the Service functions without prior notice to the User and without the latter's consent.

3.3. Yandex shall not be liable for any direct or indirect consequences of any use or inability to use the Service, damage caused to the User or third parties as a result of the use, non-use or inability to use the Service or its individual functions, including due to possible errors or failures in the operation of the Service.

4. Final Provisions

4.1. The laws of the Republic of Turkey shall apply to these Terms and the relations between Yandex and the User arising in connection with the use of the Service.

4.2. All questions and claims related to the use or inability to use the Service must be sent via the feedback form specified in the Service.
