Autofill forms

Autofill for forms is a feature that lets you automatically enter personal information (such as your name, address, email, and phone number) into website forms. Autofill is enabled in Yandex Start by default.

Save autofill data

The first time you enter information (such as an address or phone number) in a form, the app stores it. The next time you enter it, a list appears under the SmartBox and you can choose an autofill option that you saved earlier.

Set autofill data manually

The app can save your bank card data, passwords, phone number, address, email, and other things.

Add personal data
  1. Open any tab.
  2. Tap to the right of the SmartBox.
  3. Select My data → Personal data.
  4. Enter the master password to access the vault, if necessary.
  5. In the bottom-right corner, tap .
  6. Fill in the form fields.
  7. In the upper-right corner, tap .
Edit personal data
  1. Open any tab.
  2. Tap to the right of the SmartBox.
  3. Select My data → Personal data.
  4. Enter the master password to access the vault, if necessary.
  5. Choose the autofill option you need.
  6. In the upper-right corner, tap Edit.
  7. Make changes.
  8. In the upper-right corner, tap .
Delete personal data
  1. Open any tab.
  2. Tap to the right of the SmartBox.
  3. Select My data → Personal data.
  4. Enter the master password to access the vault, if necessary.
  5. Choose the autofill option you need.
  6. In the upper-right corner, tap Delete.
  7. Confirm the deletion.

Syncing

By default, autofill data are synced. To disable syncing only for this data:

  1. Go to  (profile picture) → App settings.
  2. Tap Syncing.
  3. Disable the Forms option.

Turn off autofill

  1. Go to  (profile picture) → App settings.
  2. Turn off the Autofill forms option.
