# About Yandex Start

The Yandex Start app combines everything you need in a single app: Smart Camera, automatic translation, and Yandex Search. The app can understand speech, search for images, scan QR codes, answer popular questions, and provide quick access to all Yandex services.

## How it's different from the Yandex app {#diff-app-alice}

The [home screen](https://yandex.com.tr/support2/yandex-app-android/en/app/appearance-tabs.md) features the dzen.ru start page with Zen and News. You can easily change this to any other page in the settings.


## How it's different from Yandex Browser {#differences}

- You can access all Yandex services quickly.
- Built-in phone assistant.
