# Comfortable webpage reading

## Reader mode {#read-mode}

When _reader mode_ is enabled, site pages are displayed in a format that's comfortable to read. Only the text and accompanying images or videos remain on the screen. Other page elements (like banners, interactive elements, and social media buttons) are hidden. In reader mode, you can adjust the font size or background color to reduce the stress on your eyes.

## Full site version {#desktop-version}

By default, the app displays mobile site versions. To open the full version:

1. Go to the desired site.
1. At the top-right, tap **![](../_assets/but-menu1.svg)**&nbsp;→ **Desktop version**.

To go back to the mobile version of the site, tap **Mobile version**.
