# Image search

Visual search is a new way to search for information. You don't have to enter a search query — just point your camera at an object to learn more about it. For example, snap a photo of an apple, and the Smart Camera will tell you how many calories it contains. Take a picture of a car to learn its features and fuel consumption. Yandex uses computer vision to identify objects and find similar images.

1. Point your camera at an object or choose an image from your device gallery. The app will mark the recognized objects with dots.
1. Tap on a dot on the object to open a menu with these tabs:

    - **Search**: Find information about the recognized object.
    - **Goods**: See where you can buy the product from the photo. You can apply filters by price and store.
    - **Text**: View the text recognized from the image.
    - **Similar**: Find similar items.
    - **Sites**: Links to pages featuring similar images.
